elconx is the solo project of Quito musician Agustín Echeverría. At the beginning of November he published his second album of 15 songs entitled Somos Náufragos. If we had to put it in a category, it would be experimental, since it moves between ambient, synthpop and new wave with elements of jazz. Although most of the songs are instrumental, throughout the album you can appreciate Agustín's voice on songs like Cala and Actitud that he feels comfortable singing, which is evident when listening to him.

The record could be described as a record that captures nostalgia, shipwreck and process in sounds, where elconx seeks for the listener to find himself in an ambiguous sentimental situation and induces reflection on the existence of one with the world. A world full of ups and downs, beautiful things and unpleasant things, indifferences and sensitivities. This is demonstrated with the instrumentation: with synthesizers, digital instruments; and on the other hand with acoustic instruments: drums, piano, bass and voice.
